Codex of Elyra #

In the Beginning, Elyra was at peace.

Life had not yet come to walk the grassy plains of it’s surface, or swim in the deepest of it’s seas. Only the seeds of life existed, or so we believe; formless whisps that floated over the world, awaiting the spark of creation. The land was still, and a calmness sat over everything. With a fateful twist of random chance that spark came, lighting the fires of life with the Precursors and setting the world upon a path of upheaval and chaos.

Eons later, dear reader, I present this; my life’s work. The Codex of Elyra is the collected knowledge of all that we know of this world; all that we know to be Elyra. Read it well, and cherish it; for one day, your life may hang on the balance of the knowledge contained within these pages. I pray that when that day comes, fate smiles upon you favorably, lest you be cast into oblivion and your history lost to us forever.
